Soul Master

Enter a magic school as an apprentice wizard. You are sent to an area overrun by monsters and must exterminate them. The monsters are positioned at the top of a pyramid, while four players advance from its four corners toward the summit. The first player to eliminate the monsters wins.

This game is set in the magical world of Aster, said to have been created by mages long ago. Sealed off by a wall of fog, Aster is home to cat people with superior magical abilities, who reflect and coexist with monsters. You have arrived at this magic academy to become the strongest mage, a "Soul Master." Your goal is to pass the entrance exam, graduate with excellent grades in one year, and become a Soul Master.
