About
Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator is an arcade action game in which you command the Starship Enterprise to save the Federation from NOMAD. Reach NOMAD by fighting through ten levels, each made up of multiple rounds. Encounters include Klingon fighters, anti-matter saucers, asteroid fields, and meteors that can drain the Enterprise's energy. The game ends when its energy supply is depleted.
The Enterprise has unlimited phasers and a limited supply of photon torpedoes. Each round includes one or more starbases where docking replenishes supplies such as energy and torpedoes. Gameplay uses two views: a third-person view of the Enterprise and ship gauges at the top of the screen, plus a first-person view at the bottom.
Storyline
In Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator, players command the Starship Enterprise on a mission to save the Federation from NOMAD. The Enterprise must endure Klingon attacks, asteroid fields, and other space hazards, conserve energy, resupply at starbases, and complete ten levels to reach its target.
