Swarm the City

Swarm the City is a casual strategy game where you use zombies to attack and infect humans. Play as Karr the Great, a dark lord of zombies, and identify weaknesses in human cities before destroying them. Evolve your zombie army, choose the best strategy, and infiltrate cities until they fall under your rule.

Many years ago, a demon called Karr the Great became the King of Zombies, attacking Earth and transforming nearly half of humanity into zombie legions. Humans eventually defeated him and sealed him underground beneath what is now known as Dalby Church. Hundreds of years later, a territorial war between human rivals devastated the area and reduced the church to ruins. The land's new rulers knew nothing of Karr the Great or the legend of his zombie legion. Believing the King of Zombies to be nothing more than a fanciful myth, they ignored their elders' taboos and constructed new buildings on the site of the demolished church. As development continued, humanity gradually forgot the legend. That changed in 1986, when construction workers from a company called Forte uncovered a sealed, deep-black sarcophagus at the lowest level of a new construction site's foundation. Expecting ancient treasure, they broke away the upper slab, which was set with magic stones, and opened the dark stone casket. They did not realize they had awakened an ancient king of the dead, ready to rise and rule the world once again.
