Tekken 5

Following the death of Heihachi Mishima, the fifth King of Iron Fist Tournament begins. Tekken 5 lets you enter the fight as one of many characters, including three fighters new to the Tekken series. Stages feature destructible objects and hazardous obstacles. You can customize characters with accessories such as beanies, glasses, and costumes. Defeat the game with each character to learn his or her story.

After The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 ends, a fierce father-and-son clash unfolds at Hon-Maru, the Mishima Zaibatsu headquarters, between Kazuya and Jin. Jin wins, and Heihachi turns on Kazuya, saying: “What a pathetic wretch... You worthless coward!” Heihachi then battles Jin, but Jin defeats him. Consumed by anger, Jin’s black wings spread. Just as Heihachi believes he is finished, Jin regains control. “Thank my mother, Jun Kazama,” Jin says before taking flight. The chaos fades into silence as Heihachi lies on the ground—until approaching aircraft break the calm. Something is ejected, and a group of Jack-4 units crashes through the ceiling. Heihachi initially suspects Kazuya is behind the attack, but quickly realizes Kazuya is just as shocked. As another wave of Jack-4s closes in, Heihachi demands, “Why are you here?” Heihachi and Kazuya fight side by side against the Jack-4s, but new units arrive as quickly as the old ones are destroyed. Heihachi begins to lose his breath. Kazuya then betrays him—throwing Heihachi into the middle of the Jack army—and uses the opening to escape Honmaru. Soon after, a massive explosion devastates Honmaru. Heihachi is blasted away and lands in a graveyard. A nearby airplane carries a man dressed in black who watches the battle. He speaks into his radio: “Heihachi Mishima is dead...” At that moment, a Jack attacks from behind, but it is sliced in half instantly as the man vanishes. Hon-Maru is left as a raging inferno. A pile of debris is blown apart as something unseen rises from the earth. The next day, news of Heihachi Mishima’s death spreads across the world. Many believe this will end the Mishima Zaibatsu, but behind the scenes someone else has already taken control, and business continues as usual. One month later, the Mishima Zaibatsu announces The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5.
