The Ebon Sting, a foreboding black tower of unknown origin, arrived mysteriously and changed the formerly tranquil world forever. At first, the Crimson Oil seeping from the tower appeared to bring prosperity. Soon, however, demonic entities emerged, and more than half of the population began showing unusual symptoms. Realizing that the Ebon Sting was responsible for these abnormalities, the remaining citizens turned to General Hong Sang and Royal Guard Kim Rip, who set out to destroy the source at the tower's core.
