A few weeks ago, Frank and his daughter Lorie moved into an old house whose previous owner vanished under unclear circumstances. One day, Frank finds Lorie's favorite doll and crayons beside an old red refrigerator in the basement. The fridge possesses otherworldly power: anyone who looks away from it will never see daylight again. Frank has remained in the basement, staring at the red fridge, for several days. Fear of a terrible death keeps him there, but so does the hope that he can get his daughter back.
