About

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd is the third mainline entry in the Trails series. It is a direct sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC and serves as the conclusion to the Liberl arc. Follow Kevin Graham and Ries Argent as they seek to recover an ancient artifact for the Septian Church. With the largest cast of playable characters in the Trails series at the time, plus new minigames and expanded features, the game teases major new plot developments across the continent of Zemuria.

Storyline

Six months after the events of Trails in the Sky Second Chapter, the kingdom of Liberl has returned to peace—but even in calm times, greed still smolders among the powerful and privileged, fueled by the influence of ancient artifacts. Most citizens never see the worst abuses of authority. For the Septian Church’s most enigmatic order, the Gralsritter, hunting down these would-be villains and claiming artifacts in the Church’s name is as routine as declaring faith in the Goddess. On the eve of another successfully completed mission, high-ranking Gralsritter Father Kevin Graham is immediately tasked with retrieving yet another artifact—one sealed beneath Grancel Cathedral. And although it is a job he could handle alone, he is required to work with his newest partner: rookie Gralsritter and childhood friend Sister Ries Argent. What begins as standard fieldwork quickly turns into anything but, drawing them into Phantasma—a mysterious new realm governed by unnaturally strict rules. There, the Septian Church’s history and the hidden pasts of familiar allies who once fought for Liberl’s future are brought into the open… and some truths may have been better left locked away.
