The Persistence

The Persistence is a first-person stealth horror game exclusively for PS4 and PSVR. The game features procedurally generated ship layouts. Each time you die and IRIS awakens a new character, the ship changes, creating a different life with new enemies, items, and power-ups. Survival depends on stealth, and VR supports sneaking, hiding behind cover, leaning around corners, and peeking over obstacles. Friends can connect through a phone or tablet to hack the ship's computer, controlling doors, freezing or distracting enemies, disabling traps, and locating hidden scavenging items for the VR player. However, tablet players can sometimes be rewarded when you die, raising the question of whether your friends can be trusted.

Set aboard The Persistence, a deep-space scientific vessel in the year 2521, this sci-fi survival horror game begins 17,000 light-years from Earth at the site of a collapsing star. During a major experiment, a horrific incident mutates much of the crew. As the ship is pulled toward the star's gravity, its computer, IRIS, awakens the remaining crew members from cryogenic sleep one at a time. Stay alive long enough to save The Persistence.
