The Settlers III

The gods may be crazy. First, the Almighty He—the highest of all gods—sends Jupiter, Horus, and Ch’ih-Yu into an extremely grueling competition over some occasional drinking sprees. Then the three are met with scorn and ridicule: Q’nqura, the goddess of the Amazons, lets the trio win a battle purely out of spite, sealing their humiliation.

Settlers III begins with three gods—Jupiter, leader of the Roman pantheon; Horus, the falcon-headed Egyptian sun god; and Ch’ih-Yu, the legendary Chinese dragon. A messenger delivers a command from the gods’ god: they must find a worthy leader to found a new people and set them against one another. The winner escapes eternal punishment—repainting the entire universe white. You take on the role of a leader seeking to prove their worth by conquering rival civilizations and capturing as many territories as possible.
