Timelines: Assault on America

Timelines: Assault on America is a real-time strategy game set during an alternate-history World War II.

July 20, 1942 — Berlin, Germany: The United States’ Office of Strategic Services (OSS) acts on intelligence supplied by the underground German resistance against the Third Reich. The OSS launches Operation ‘Wolf’s Head’, placing top marksmen within a rally held in honor of Adolf Hitler. As thousands salute and cheer, a blue Mercedes convertible carrying the Third Reich leader rolls through the downtown Berlin rally. Gunshots ring out and the crowd erupts in screams. German officers rush to the car and find Adolf Hitler with two bullets in his head. One man shouts, ‘He is dead!’ July 21, 1942: Enraged German leaders order mass arrests and interrogations. The German army learns of Operation ‘Wolf’s Head’ and abandons plans to invade Russia. Germany convinces its Axis ally Japan to launch a two-front invasion of the United States of America: Germany attacks from the East while Japan invades from the West. The United States Army must defend the country in the Assault On America.
