About
A search for the fabled “Atlantis of the Sands” sends fortune hunter Nathan Drake deep into the Arabian Desert. When he uncovers the terrible secrets of the lost city, his expedition becomes a desperate fight for survival—pushing his endurance to the limit and forcing him to confront his deepest fears.
Storyline
Nathan “Nate” Drake (Nolan North) and Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Richard McGonagle) enter a London pub to meet Talbot (Robin Atkin Downes), who wants to buy Nate’s ring. When Nate and Sully accuse Talbot of paying with counterfeit banknotes, a fight breaks out. After battling through Talbot’s thugs, they reach an alley—only to be surrounded and subdued by Talbot’s partner, Charlie Cutter (Graham McTavish).
Talbot’s client, Katherine Marlowe (Rosalind Ayres), arrives and takes Drake’s ring. Nate tries to pursue her, but Cutter shoots Nate and Sully, seemingly killing them.
The story then flashes back 20 years to Cartagena, Colombia. Teenage Nathan Drake (Billy Unger) explores a museum in search of Sir Francis Drake’s ring, but is thrown out when guards suspect he is a thief. Curious about Victor Sullivan—whom he does not yet know—Nate follows him to a keymaker, pickpockets him, and returns to the museum.
Nate steals the ring, but is caught by Marlowe, her henchmen, and Sully, who is working for her. Nate escapes with the ring while Marlowe’s agents chase him. Sully rescues Nate from them and decides to become his mentor.
