XCOM 2 is the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the 2012 award-winning strategy game of the year. Earth has fallen under alien rule, and against impossible odds you must rebuild XCOM and spark a global resistance to reclaim the world and save humanity.

Twenty years after world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to alien forces, XCOM—Earth’s last line of defense—was left shattered and scattered. Now the aliens rule the planet, building gleaming cities that promise humanity a bright future on the surface while hiding a sinister agenda below and wiping out anyone who resists their new order.
