Yakuza: Like a Dragon - Hero Edition

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a role-playing game developed and published by Sega. Released in 2020, it is the eighth main entry in the Yakuza series. The story introduces a new protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, and shifts from the series’ traditional action combat to turn-based party combat. Set in the fictional city of Yokohama, the game follows Kasuga’s quest for revenge and his journey through Japan’s criminal underworld. The Hero Edition includes the Job Set and Management Mode Set DLCs.

Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking grunt in a low-ranking yakuza family in Tokyo, accepts an 18-year prison sentence after taking the fall for a crime he didn’t commit. He never loses faith, serves his time, and returns to society—only to find no one waiting for him, and his clan destroyed by the man he respected most. Determined to uncover the truth behind his family’s betrayal and reclaim his life, Ichiban gathers a ragtag crew of society’s outcasts: Adachi, a rogue cop; Nanba, a homeless ex-nurse; and Saeko, a hostess on a mission. Together, they’re pulled into a conflict brewing beneath the surface of Yokohama and must rise as the heroes they never expected to become.
