Firewatch

Firewatch is a single-player, first-person adventure set in the Wyoming wilderness. You play as Henry, who takes a summer job as a fire lookout in search of a peaceful break from a complicated life. That calm begins to unravel as you start questioning the strange events happening around you. Your only human connection is through a handheld radio, where you speak with your supervisor, Delilah, about what both of you are experiencing.

It’s 1989. You are Henry, a man who has fled a messy life to take a job as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. High on a mountain, your role is to spot smoke and help keep the forest safe. A brutally hot, dry summer has everyone on edge. Your supervisor, Delilah, is always within reach over a small handheld radio—and she’s your only connection to the world you left behind. But when something strange pulls you out of your lookout tower and into the wilderness below, you’ll explore an unfamiliar landscape, face unsettling questions, and make interpersonal choices that can strengthen or shatter the only meaningful relationship you have.
