Halo 3: ODST

New Mombasa lies in ruins, but the war is far from over. Halo 3: ODST drops you into the besieged city in this first-person shooter. You play as “The Rookie,” an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, and uncover the truth behind the Covenant invasion. Fight intense online multiplayer matches with the full collection of Halo 3 multiplayer maps, including three brand-new battlefields. You can also team up in Firefight, a new cooperative mode that pits your squad against waves of Covenant attackers.

Set in the Kenyan port city of New Mombasa, Halo 3: ODST follows a squad of elite Marine Orbital Drop Shock Troopers during the Covenant invasion of Earth on October 20, 2552. Thrown off course by the Mombasa Slipspace Incident, five ODSTs—alongside an ONI officer—fight through wrecked, debris-strewn streets to reunite, evade the Covenant, and carry out a top-secret mission. The story takes place directly after the Halo 2 level Metropolis, when the Prophet of Regret makes a slipspace jump in New Mombasa.
