Wolfenstein: The New Order

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a first-person action-adventure shooter and a semi-sequel to 2009’s Wolfenstein. It carries forward very little from that entry and avoids direct references to the Veil or supernatural elements. To advance the story, you fight through enemy-filled levels using a health system divided into regenerating segments; if an entire segment is lost, you’ll need a health pack to restore it. Combat also supports a cover system, letting you lean around, over, or under cover for tactical advantages during firefights and stealth sections. A wide range of weapons is available, found on the ground, taken from fallen enemies, or pulled from fixed positions and carried with you.

Three years after the destruction of the Black Sun portal, the Nazis have deployed advanced technology that lets them turn the tide against the Allies. B.J. Blazkowicz hunts his arch-enemy, General Wilhelm “Deathshead” Strasse, believing that killing Deathshead will cripple the Nazi war machine. The plan goes wrong: Blazkowicz is mortally wounded and left in a partial coma. Rescued by a Polish fishing vessel, he is taken to an asylum in Poland, where 14 years pass. When he finally awakens, he finds a world plunged into darkness and dominated by the Nazis. Blazkowicz arms himself once more and sets out to reignite rebellion and bring down the Nazi regime.
