Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a multi-platform video game produced by Ubisoft, released on May 18, 2010 in North America and on May 20, 2010 in Europe. The game marks a return to the storyline introduced in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. "The Forgotten Sands" is also used as the title for four separate games with different storylines: the main version for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows, plus three platform-exclusive versions for PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and Wii.

A Prince rides on horseback across the desert to visit his brother, Malik, hoping to learn about leadership. When he reaches Malik’s kingdom, it is under siege by an army trying to break into the treasure vaults and claim a powerful force known as “Solomon’s Army.” The Prince rushes into the city and follows Malik into the vaults, where Malik admits the battle is being lost and argues they must use a last resort or retreat. The Prince objects, but Malik uses a magical seal to release Solomon’s Army—an assortment of sand-made creatures. The Prince and Malik each secure half of the seal that once contained the army, protecting them from the fate suffered by the rest of the kingdom: being turned into sand statues.
