Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2 is a remake of 1998’s Resident Evil 2, reimagining the original story with redesigned maps, characters, and story elements rather than aiming to simply improve the original. Its mechanics are closer to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, but it uses an over-the-shoulder camera.

Players step into the separate campaigns of rookie police officer Leon Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield, brought together by a catastrophic outbreak in Raccoon City that turns its population into deadly zombies. With two playable perspectives, the story unfolds through both Leon’s and Claire’s eyes as they struggle to survive. Their fate is in the player’s hands as they work together to escape and uncover what’s behind the terrifying attack on the city.
