S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat begins shortly after the events of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. After learning of an open route to the Zone’s center, the government launches the large-scale military operation “Fairway” to take control of the CNPP. The plan starts with aerial reconnaissance to map the locations of anomalous fields, then deploys the main forces using those maps. Despite careful preparation, the operation collapses and most of the advance helicopters crash. To uncover why it failed, Ukraine’s Security Service sends an agent into the heart of the Zone. From here on out, everything depends on you.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat begins after Shadow of Chernobyl, when a newly opened route to the Zone’s center triggers a military operation to seize the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. After the mission collapses and helicopters crash, a Security Service agent enters the Zone to investigate the failure while surviving deadly anomalies and hostile factions.
