The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure game set five years after the events of The Last of Us. Players travel through post-apocalyptic environments, including buildings and forests, to advance the story. You can use firearms, improvised weapons, and stealth to defend yourself against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. The game intermittently switches control between Ellie and Abby, and briefly Joel in the opening sequence. The player character’s nimble movement adds platforming elements, letting you jump and climb to navigate environments and gain advantages during combat.

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have built a life in Jackson, Wyoming. Among a thriving community of survivors, they find a measure of peace and stability, even as infected and desperate strangers remain a constant threat. When a violent event shatters that calm, Ellie sets off on a relentless journey for justice and closure. As she tracks those responsible one by one, she faces the brutal physical and emotional consequences of what she does.
