About
Diablo is an isometric action RPG and a landmark example of the action-RPG subgenre. While some mechanics resemble a traditional RPG, combat and exploration play out in real time. You fight through randomized dungeon levels, slaying hordes of monsters to earn experience, collect gold, and find equipment that strengthens your hero for the battles ahead.
Storyline
Set in the fictional Kingdom of Khanduras in the world of Sanctuary, Diablo follows a lone hero in a fight against Diablo, the Lord of Terror. Beneath the town of Tristram, the hero descends through sixteen dungeon levels, ultimately entering Hell itself to confront Diablo.
