Metro: Last Light

Based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s Russian novel Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light is a post-apocalyptic horror first-person shooter and a new chapter in the Metro saga, serving as the sequel to Metro 2033. Like its predecessor, it is a story-driven shooter with heavy stealth elements. Artyom can carry up to three weapons, but ammunition is scarce and valuable. High-grade bullets even function as the Metro’s currency. Stealth is encouraged against armed enemies, saving precious rounds for the many mutant creatures you’ll face. Many situations let you choose between direct firefights or stealth, with both lethal and non-lethal takedown options.

The story continues after the bad ending of Metro 2033, where Artyom launches a devastating attack on the mysterious supernatural race known as the Dark Ones. With weapons recovered from D6, the station-cities of the Metro fight for power. You follow Artyom, Metro 2033’s protagonist, as he searches for the enigmatic “Prisoner,” believed to be the “key to survival—the last light in our darkest hour…”
