Prototype is the first of two games and puts you in control of Alex Mercer as he fights to stop the BLACKLIGHT viral outbreak spreading across Manhattan. Infected himself, Alex gains evolving mutant abilities that grow over time and help him combat the virus.
Storyline
Alexander J. Mercer (voiced by Barry Pepper) awakens in a morgue beneath Gentek, a Manhattan-based genetic engineering company, startling two scientists preparing an autopsy.
