Set in Chicago, Watch Dogs explores how technology shapes modern society in a city where a central computer network connects everyone and everything. Using Chicago as your weapon, you embark on a personal mission to deliver your own brand of justice. The city’s overarching network, the Central Operating System (ctOS), controls nearly all of Chicago’s technology and information, including crucial data on every resident.

Play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug whose criminal past sparked a violent family tragedy. Driven to seek justice, you monitor and hack the people around you by manipulating the citywide ctOS from the palm of your hand. Tap into omnipresent security cameras, download personal data to track a target, and disrupt the enemy by controlling traffic lights, public transportation, and more.
