Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2 is the sequel to the original Resident Evil. Like its predecessor, it is a 3D action-adventure that uses polygonal characters on pre-rendered 2D backgrounds, viewed through cinematic fixed camera angles in each room. Players choose between two characters who share the same opening scenario, but experience differences in the weapons they find and the people they encounter along the way.

The story is set on September 29, 1998, as zombies overrun Raccoon City. A biological weapon known as the T-Virus is released into the sewer system, and rats spread the infection throughout the population. Two newcomers arrive: Leon S. Kennedy, a rookie police officer on his first day, and Claire Redfield, a college student searching for her brother. Together, Leon and Claire are plunged into a survival horror fight for their lives as they battle hordes of creatures and struggle to survive.
