Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

After his mother is murdered, Carl Johnson returns to the semi-fictional city of Los Santos (based on Los Angeles). A former gang banger, he must win back respect and reclaim the streets for his family and friends. As crime, lies, and corruption close in, his journey takes him across the state of San Andreas (based on California and Nevada) as he fights to rebuild his life.

Five years ago, Carl Johnson escaped the pressure of life in Los Santos, San Andreas—a city being torn apart by gang conflict, drugs, and corruption, where film stars and millionaires try to avoid dealers and gangbangers. Now it’s the early 90s, and Carl has to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family is falling apart, and his childhood friends are heading toward disaster. When he returns to the neighborhood, two corrupt cops frame him for homicide. Forced onto the run, CJ begins a journey across the entire state of San Andreas to save his family and take control of the streets.
