Heavy Rain

Heavy Rain is a cinematic psychological thriller from developer Quantic Dream, released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. Exploring a range of adult themes, it centers on a sophisticated plot and strong narrative threads built around a complex moral proposition. Players take control of multiple characters with different backgrounds, motivations, and skills, in a world where every decision can affect what happens next.

The game follows four lead characters: Ethan Mars, a father and the main protagonist; Scott Shelby, a private investigator; Norman Jayden, an FBI agent; and Madison Paige, a photojournalist. They are very different people and do not know each other at this point in the story, yet they are linked by a shared connection to the central antagonist: the Origami Killer.
