Grand Theft Auto III

Grand Theft Auto III delivers a fully 3D living city, combining narrative-driven missions with non-linear, open-world gameplay. It marks a major step forward in interactive entertainment by placing players at the center of their own gangster-movie experience inside a fully realized 3D city where anything can happen. The game includes a large cast, more than 50 vehicles—from sports cars and ice cream trucks to boats and buses—plus three hours of music across genres like opera, reggae, house, drum and bass, pop, and disco. With a wide selection of street-ready weapons and some of the seediest characters in video game history, Grand Theft Auto 3 is a sprawling crime epic where the payoff can be as dangerous as the hustle. Available for PlayStation2, Xbox, PC, and Macintosh.

You’ve been betrayed and left for dead—and now you’re out for revenge, if the city doesn’t finish you first. Mob bosses demand favors, crooked cops need help, and street gangs want you dead. To stay out of serious trouble, you’ll have to rob, steal, and kill. Out here, anything can happen.
